Studying Mathematics at Regis

Choose Regis

The mathematics minor consists of 12 upper division semester hours selected with input from an advisor. All grades earned must be a C or better and with an overall GPA of 2.000.

The mathematics minor allows (and even encourage) double majors or major/minor combinations with other fields. Computer Science, any of the natural sciences, Finance or Economics, and Education are all obvious natural combinations, but we have had many successful students that combine with majors or minors in English, Religious Studies, and Fine Arts.

The minor in mathematics also provides students with a broad knowledge of theoretical and applied mathematics.

Students can also include an internship experience as a valuable part of the Mathematics major, gaining experience in the world of work while developing problem solving skills.
